Viabizzuno lights up 'homo faber 2024: the journey of life', the exhibition that celebrates contemporary craftsmanship. this third edition is directed by luca guadagnino and nicolò rosmarini for michelangelo foundation and it is open until 30 september. set in the magnificent spaces of fondazione giorgio cini on the san giorgio maggiore island in venice, homo faber is an immersive experience that illustrates the essential role handmade objects play in our daily lives, among handcrafted items from all over the world, exceptional scenographies and live artisan demonstrations. the lighting project, curated by eleonora grigoletto and massimiliano baldieri contributes to the creation of an exciting visiting path while enhancing the extraordinary objects on display: the preciousness of materials, colours, textures, patterns, details and nuances is perfectly conveyed to the visitor thanks to the micromen spotlights with custom finishes integrated into the showcases. the artisans‘ and artists’ workstations are illuminated with floor solutions such as roy lettura, fiore and traccia terra, thus ensuring a very high quality of light that does not damage the fine and sometimes fragile materials in any way. the entrance to the exhibition is illuminated with n55 binario spotlights, while in the room dedicated to dreams p1 spotlights placed on the ground illuminate the water mirror, creating a suspended and mystical atmosphere.
