thursday 20 june 2024
figaroqua figarolà, designed for Viabizzuno by paolo rizzatto and marionanni, was awarded by adi - an association internationally recognized as a leading player in the development of industrial design as a cultural and economic phenomenon - for its technological innovation.

figaroqua figarolà is now part of adi's permanent collection, declared by the italian ministry of cultural heritage and activities to be of "exceptional artistic and historical interest."

paolo rizzatto, an architect and designer recognized worldwide for his projects, was also awarded the compasso d'oro career award "for methodological precision and coherence of the results, capable of overcoming conventional responses by reinventing a number of different types of lighting."

working on the relationship between the concept of light and movement, figaroqua figarolà can be freely positioned in space both in height and depth thanks to its special suspension system characterized by cables and counterweights, allowing to have from time to time light for reading, for a table, for the environment, for the different human and architecture needs, easily intervening on the position, quality and intensity of the light emitted.

the lamp is wired with dynamic propeller n55, Viabizzuno's patented system, which guarantees the highest quality of light, very low energy consumption and very low maintenance costs.
